I absolutely love this time of the year! Spring and autumn are my two favorite seasons. The month of April always brings a fresh newness. It’s as if God washes the earth clean and allows life to blossom. The beautiful flowers come to life, and the green grass becomes a blanket for the earth. The days become warmer and longer. The hearts of mankind seem to glow with a freshness that comes along with the fresh clean rain. The birds chirp away with a sweet new melody, and the butterflies unfold their wings and fly.
Literally, joy fills the hearts of God’s creation. At least I pray that’s the case for all of you that’s taking time to read this blog.
One of the many aspects I love about God, is that He specializes in fresh new beginnings. It matters not how the dark elements of negative circumstance have influenced our hearts, God always has a plan that will cause the sun to shine once again.
Too often, the undercurrents of life will try to suck us into a dark pit of despair. It’s during these dark times that we must not allow our emotions to be our guide. We must learn the ancient lesson of walking by faith and not by sight. We must not lean on our own understanding, but rather, lean on God. We must trust that the same God who clothed the earth with beauty, after long winter days, will clothe our destiny with the fresh newness of awe-inspiring color. It simply astounds me how God is able to turn every dark season into a spectacular new beginning. Simply amazing!
2 Corinthians 5:7— (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Proverbs 3:5-6—Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
So, it’s my prayer for you, that God blows your mind away with the brilliance of His life changing power. I pray He allows you to see a small glimpse of the fabulous plan He has for you. I pray that you blossom and everything you touch turns into bright sunshine!
Please, be optimistic. God has something so dazzling for you, and it’s just a heartbeat away!
Isaiah 43:19—Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Ecclesiastes 3:11— He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
Until next time, stay sweet and God bless!
